I am Taha Rasouli, and I have been active in the Iranian video game industry for nearly 20 years. I began my career as a writer and later became a game designer on numerous projects. In 2012, I contributed to the founding of the Iran National Game Development Institute, where I also served as director for one year. Since 2017, I have been the co-founder of Avagames, a publishing and investment company, where I have supported many independent game development teams in bringing their projects to completion. Alongside this, I have served on the board of directors of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA), the world’s largest game development association, and I am currently a board member of the IGDA Foundation, dedicated to supporting game developers worldwide. My experience in both producing and publishing games in the Iranian and international markets has led me in recent years to create educational courses under the brand “Taha Game Academy.” I also work as a mentor with both small and large game development teams in Iran and abroad, helping them and their projects grow. If you would like to learn from a mentor who has faced many failures and wants to help you face fewer of your own, I would be delighted to be by your side.
