Architect | Illustrator | Painter
I am an architect and illustratorwho sees architecture as more than just wood and stone. My journey took me from Iran to Italy, where I completed my Master’s degree in Architecture in Florence,a city deeply tied to the Renaissance. There, I was drawn to the emotional and human dimensions of architecture. My academic work focused on socially engaged topics, such as refugee housing in Sicily for my thesis, and residential structures in Bamiyan, Afghanistan, in collaboration with Professor Giulio Giovannoni. As a painter and illustrator, I observe people and everyday life through daily sketches. These small drawings have become a way to better understand the world around me and have opened doors to deeper subjects in illustration, blending art with architecture. Today, I am a registered member of the Bavarian Chamber of Architects and work in Germany, where I have collaborated with several architectural firms. My professional focus is on vernacular wooden architecture and traditional carpentry, especially in Bavaria and other German-speaking regions. My work reflects a constant dialogue between culture, craft, and the human experience—both as an architect and as an artist.
