Amin Barmaki is the Lead Artist at Dead Mage Studio, with more than thirteen years of experience in both animation and video games. He began his career in 2008 as a 3D lighting artist in animation, then transitioned into game development in 2012. Since then, he has worked across various disciplines including overall art, game design, and technical art, giving him a broad perspective on the creative process and how different fields come together. Amin has contributed to game projects such as GT Nitro, Tale of Ronin, Wizard of Legend 2, and an unannounced Dead Mage title. His main focus has been on environment art and technical art, but he has also led teams and influenced the visual direction of projects. What drives his work is a simple passion for telling stories, whether through sketches, game environments, or the tools and pipelines that bring ideas to life.
