The Philosophy Behind My Logo

My full brand name is PAZH-VUE.
The word PAZH is derived from the phonetic combination of my first and last name, Pouria Mojdeh — a tradition commonly followed among architects.
The word VUE is an acronym for Visualization Under Effect. Interestingly, it’s also the name of the first rendering engine I ever used when I started my journey into architectural visualization.

The visual form of the logo contains two symbolic elements:
a candle and an owl’s horn.

In my field of work, light represents rendering — the art of bringing life to darkness. The candle symbolizes illumination, pushing back against the void. It also holds deep personal meaning for me, representing my sister Sara and my brother Edwin, who were like candles in the darkest days of my life.

The owl is a metaphor for myself. I stay awake through the night working, and sleep during the day (though I must admit this lifestyle isn’t ideal). Among my friends, I’ve earned the nickname the owl because of it.
The logo motion was fully designed and animated by myself in Adobe After Effects.

Note on Pronunciation:
The word PAZH is pronounced “Pahzh” — with “Pa” as in car, and “zh” like the “s” in measure or treasure.
(IPA: /pɑːʒ/)

“It is better to light a candle than to curse the darkness.”
Confucius
