Ali Jafari – Architect

Ali Jafari is a Master of Architecture student at the University of Applied Arts Vienna (Angewandte), with a deep passion for intertwining architectural history with contemporary innovation. His work is rooted in a fascination with the historical evolution of form and space, which he reinterprets through experimental approaches that challenge conventional design norms. He previously worked with LAVA Berlin on the NEOM project, where he contributed to one of the most ambitious architectural visions of the decade. In addition to his academic and professional pursuits, Ali is the co-founder of Shoor Studio, alongside designer and architect Razieh Zirrahi. Together, they explore architecture, product design, and furniture design through a multidisciplinary lens. Ali’s projects are driven by a desire to craft complex, thought-provoking spatial experiences that merge historical context with advanced technologies. His architectural language seeks to provoke curiosity and dialogue — creating new possibilities at the intersection of tradition and modernity.
